Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival & The Border Crossing
- Pickup from Bagdogra/Jaigaon. Check-in and evening walk around the Zangto Pelri Lhakhang park.
- Stay: Phuentsholing
Day 2: The Ascent to Thimphu
- Drive to Thimphu (approx. 5-6 hrs). Stop at Kharbandi Gompa for valley views and Chuzom.
- Evening visit to Buddha Dordenma (Giant Buddha) at sunset for a panoramic view of the capital.
- Stay: Thimphu (Standard Hotel).
Day 3: Punakha Valley & Suspension Bridge
- Drive over the Dochula Pass – on clear days, see the Gangkar Puensum peak. Hike to Chimi Lhakhang.
- Visit the Punakha Suspension Bridge (Bhutan’s longest) for an adrenaline rush.
- Drive back to Thimphu.
- Stay: Thimphu.
Day 4: Thimphu to Paro & Nature Hike
- Early drive to Paro. Instead of just driving, stop for a specialized hike:

Day 5: The Tiger’s Nest Expedition
