Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy outlines how we handle your information when you visit our website or book a tour with us.

  • Information We Collect: We only collect information necessary to process your bookings, secure your Bhutanese travel visa, and ensure your safety. This includes your name, passport details, contact information, dietary requirements, and payment details.
  • How We Use Your Data: Your data is strictly used to facilitate your itinerary, arrange accommodations (like our Live Local farm stays), and coordinate with the Tourism Council of Bhutan.
  • Data Security: We implement robust security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way.
  • Third-Party Disclosure: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties, except trusted partners who assist us in operating our website or servicing your trip.

Payment Methods

To make your booking process as smooth as possible, we offer secure and internationally recognized payment options. The Tourism Council of Bhutan requires trips to be paid in advance to secure your visa.

  • International Wire Transfer: The most common and secure method for Bhutanese tour payments. We will provide you with the official bank details for the Bhutan National Bank upon invoice generation.
  • Credit/Debit Cards: We accept major international credit cards via our secure online payment gateway. (Please note: Standard processing fees may apply).
  • Payment Timeline: A deposit is required to confirm your itinerary and secure flights, with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your arrival in Paro.

Reservation & Cancellation

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as flexible as possible while adhering to the operational requirements of Bhutanese tourism.

Reservation Process:

  • Initial Deposit: A deposit of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to secure your dates, guide, and accommodations.
  • Final Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared at least 30 days before your scheduled arrival date.

Cancellation Timelines & Refunds:

  • More than 30 Days Before Arrival: Cancellations made 30 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund, minus a small administrative fee and any non-refundable flight booking charges.
  • 15 to 29 Days Before Arrival: Cancellations made within this window are subject to a partial cancellation fee.
  • Less than 15 Days Before Arrival: Cancellations made less than 15 days prior to arrival are non-refundable due to the strict advance booking requirements for hotels and government tariffs.
  • Delayed Arrivals: No refunds will be issued for delayed arrivals or missed days on the itinerary due to weather, flight disruptions, or personal reasons.
